Zotag, LoveCMS, New website, and stuff…

Well, Zotag search has taken off, and were doing nicely! We have a new feature called WorkoutStats, that lets you track your workouts over a course of time. The intreface might be ugly, but it gets the job done. We havent added any new websites to the database because of some updates to the software.

As for LoveCMs, the 1.6 finial came out. It hasent changed, in features…yet. Im awating the 1.7 release, because their are some big changes plained.

LoveCMS

As it name inplyes, its a lovely CMS (content management system). The current release is 1.6 beta. This release in kinda buggy, and if your using a linux server, froget about installing this release! When i contacted the admin about this, he said that it will be removed in version 1.7. (system folder and website url). What i have seen on their homepage(http://lovecms.org) it looks like a great CMS! Th7e themes are realy easy to make, no complexed php coding just simple text. The installation is not that big, execpt for the editor, which is over 1MB!

addicted to iPod

Every were you go, you see someone with an iPod right? I don’t leave my house with out mine! I know that you have one, and when you loose it, you go into a state of shock! In my school, their kids who even lessen to them in class! Thats what i call addicted to iPods!

Apple- Beats it’s silent drum

Have you seen any iMac or a PowerMac add any were? I don’t think so! Most people know about apple, but not about its great pcs! How then does apple stay on the market? For one the iPod. Come on, who dosent have an iPod? Who has a mac? a pc? Most of you will have a pc. With apples new iPhone and OS X 1.5 comming out apple’s market share could jump bu 20% at most! It’s just so sad that everyone uses Xp or vista not mac…

Windows

Why do we use windows? think about it. All because it was the first out. If Mac OS X was the first os out, we would be using it right now! Mac OS X would have all the virus that plague the windows world, all the software as well. I think that i’m having second thoughts because if MAC OS X has virus then we will mess it up, then linux, then openBSD. We might just have to stay with windows for now!

Web Hosting

Have you heard of free web hosting? I have…

Most of them like ifastnet.com have adds on the bottom of the page. They use the outdated iFrame html code. The only bad part of it is that they put the code below the

</html>

tag.

But i found away around that. Just dont use them! use a better service like ZendURL.com. As one of the members i know that their servers experience some downtime. Thats a trade off for great service!
